July 4, 2008 Part 3

People were able to bring in chairs and blankets after 3:00PM, but the fireworks display didn’t start until 9:15PM. We didn’t claim our spot until later in the day and then it started to rain. Most of the time the rain was very light, but it was enough to get you wet. We were not sure if they would have the fireworks or would cancel for a rain date, but decided to stay and it was well worth the wait. See for yourself. Setting up for the fireworks, there were hundreds of tubes and wires all over the place. As you will see later, they were set to music. The video is a taste of what we saw. I couldn't include the grande finale because of the file size, but it was the best fireworks display that I have ever seen.
