If you read my post about three toasts and a chicken, I mentioned a "Super Walmart". Here is Italy's version.
There is a huge parking lot outside or you can park beneath the building.
You get your cart from the cart rack
putting a coin in which releases the cart from it's tether. "The coin pops back out when you return the cart to the cart rack".
The store has a total of three floors, the first level for parking, the second the grocery store, some clothes stores, a bank, magazines, dry cleaners, the third level an ice cream place and a restaurant. To access these levels there are stairs, or an escalator for grocery carts. The wheels are magnetized on the carts, so they easily cling to the escalator. There is also an elevator if you are handicapped.
David wanted to show our chicken dinner.
The plastic container had an assortment of dolces "sweets" in it. And of course vino. And I have to say that chicken was delicious.
