Today was Saturday, so David and I decided to go exploring the country side. That mountain has called to me ever since we got here, so that is the way we headed. Although we had a map it did not show all the little towns and so for ninety percent of the journey we had no idea where we were going. We navigated by the sun and the mountain. One of the towns we stumbled upon was Budoia. Here you can see some pictures of the town square, the church and a couple other pictures of interest.
These are pictures of the parish church, St. Maria Maggiore Di Bardago dating from 1561.
It was neat to see flowers on a number of the window sills. Here is just one example.
A couple shots of the streets in Budoia.
After climbing halfway up this mountain, you're grateful for any place to sit.
