Part of the park is given over to raptor sightings. Here is a picture of our raptor. He wasn't being very cooperative as he only showed his back. Probably for the best, because it looks like a turkey vulture.
For dinner we ate at the Bayard House across the bridge at Chesapeake City, a quint old town. From our table we watched a barge being towed upriver.
